Boreal Forestry regards proper safety and environmental practises as paramount to our working ethos. All staff are NPTC certified in the usage of chainsaw, chemical and ATV equipment and are also fully trained in Forestry First Aid. All chainsaw oils are also bio-degradable as every little bit helps to ensure that polution to our woodlands is avoided.
Our native woodland is very important to us and as mentioned we have extensive knowledge on conservation projects including removal of non native species and the introducing of natural Scottish flora to our woodlands. All licenses are up to date including a current Gangs-Master License and safety refresher courses are attended annually to keep our staff responsible in the day to day use of their equipment.
